The FDA and key staff therein have SIGNIFICANT financial ties to the brand name drug industry. Therefore, when taking FDA approved prescription drugs you will, most likely, be paying the highest prices in the world for medications with unknown, untested or unlisted adverse drug reactions. The financial relationship between the FDA and the brand name drug industry may be harmful to your health up to and including death.

Due in large part to the funding from the drug industry, the FDA can no longer be trusted to protect and safeguard Americans. Financial control of the FDA by the pharmaceutical manufacturers is unethical and the practice has corrupted the nation's oldest, largest and most powerful consumer protection agency. Due to very large political contributions from the pharmaceutical industry, Washington politicians and the White House have proven to be supportive of the brand name pharmaceutical industry to the detriment of U.S. citizens. Americans can not remain idle. Americans must act, act now and act decisively.
In the United States, "We the people" are empowered to stop corruption. We the people are empowered to make things "right" and "just". We the people will hold offending parties accountable for their deceit, corruption and collusion against the American public. We the people should never be taken for granted because under God and after nature, We the people embody the ultimate power on earth. Make no mistake, putting the entire nation at risk by giving the brand name drug companies the ability to pay off the FDA will wake a sleeping tiger.
To end this terrible conflict of interest, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING COURSE OF ACTION: Contact your elected representatives via fax, telephone, email and/or regular mail stating the following information:
Letter One - Washington Politicians
Dear (Washington Politicians including: President, V.P., Congressman, Senator etc.) _____________________:
Private industry fees paid directly to the FDA are putting the lives and well-being of all Americans in jeopardy, and therefore, the fees must end immediately. Also, an independent public agency outside of the FDA must be created to (1) evaluate all medications for safety and effectiveness; (2) coordinate consumer drug safety; (3) ensure that the FDA's consumer protection integrity is not compromised; (4) criminally prosecute public officials who knowingly work on behalf of those regulated and not in the best interest of citizens; and finally, (5) Americans must pay the same or lower prices for medications as people pay outside the U.S.
The FDA has been compromised and can no longer be trusted. U.S. citizens are dying. Americans are forced to pay twice as much as other nations for the same medications. Letter Two - State & Local Politicians

Recent devastating news events regarding the problems at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) make more sense once I learned that the brand name drug industry is directly paying the FDA nearly $200,000,000 per year. The FDA's blatant conflict of interest is putting U.S. citizens by the millions in harms way. This is a very important national and local issue. To get more information see www.FDAStudy.com.
There may be other issues of concern. However, specifically in respect to prescription drugs, the Federal Government is no longer protecting U.S. citizens. Most members of Congress, both major political parties and the White House are receiving very large contributions from the brand name pharmaceutical industry, and in return, most Washington based politicians are supporting the drug industry to the detriment of American taxpayers.
America has a system of checks and balances. Now that the brand name pharmaceutical has gained control over Washington, it is up to the local governments to step in to protect citizens in their areas. Therefore, I am respectfully requesting that you take a "NO CONFIDENCE" vote, and if approved, you announce to the media that you have "NO CONFIDENCE" in the Federal Government's present ability to protect U.S. citizens related to brand name prescription drugs.
To reverse your "NO CONFIDENCE" position, Congress and the White House must initiate the following three changes:
1. Private industry fees paid directly to the FDA must end immediately.
2. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) needs an independent agency to investigate and prosecute employees who protect the drug industry to the detriment of U.S. citizens; monitor prescription drug safety; request and/or complete independent testing; educate physicians and pre-approve all clinical data used to educate clinical practitioners; report safety issues directly to the public; prosecute drug companies that hide, distort or misrepresent clinical data; initiate safety label warnings; pull deadly medications off the market and restrict medication uses as appropriate.
3. The Federal Government must immediately negotiate and allow local governments to negotiate with brand name pharmaceutical manufacturers to pay the same or lower rates for prescription drugs as paid by all other industrialized nations.
If enough State, County and City governments make a "NO CONFIDENCE" public announcement, the check & balance system will hopefully override the Federal Government's preoccupation with protecting the brand name drug industry to the detriment of U.S. Citizens. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
